Interesting recipes

Weight Watchers is a popular program for losing weight and this book provides some information how to do that. The book gives an intro to Weight Watchers. If you’ve already read about it, you can probably skip this part. Chapter 2 is more interesting as it gives details on how to lose weight with Weight Watchers. Ch. 3 explains SmartPoints. The basics of healthy eating are then explained in Chapter 4. From Chapter 5 onwards, there are some nice recipes to get you started. These are both tasty and healthy so your diet shouldn’t have to be a struggle. Recommended.

I appreciate that this book is fairly written and gives you which things to focus on first. In other words, this book knows what to prioritize first! This is a very helpful guide. It's well written and easy to understand. The book has information on how weight watchers diet works to help you lose weight and stay this way. This book can help to lose weight quickly, but it must be done very carefully and listen to your body that it tells. The aim of the Weight Watchers diet seem to emphasize on cutting down carbohydrates while increasing on healthy fats, proteins and vegetables. This book even gives recipe suggestions that can be used in conjunction with the tips and tricks included in this book. Awesome guide!

About the Author

Margaret McWilliams, Ph.D., RDN, is Professor Emerita at California State University–Los Angeles. There, she taught food science and served as Department Chair and Program Director of the Coordinated Dietetics Program, which she co-founded. Dr. McWilliams earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees at Iowa State University and her Ph.D. at Oregon State University. She belongs to many professional organizations, including the Institute of Food Technologists and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Her current texts include: Food Around the World: A Cultural Perspective, Fourth Edition, 2014 (Prentice Hall); Experimental Foods Laboratory Manual, Eighth Edition, 2008 (Prentice Hall); Food Fundamentals, Tenth Edition, 2012 (Prentice Hall); Illustrated Guide to Food Preparation, Eleventh Edition, 2012 (Prentice Hall); and Fundamentals of Meal Management, 2005 (Prentice Hall).

I have three poems in this anthology as well

Naturally, I'm bound to love it. There really are poems there that make the hair on the back of my neck stand up as well. Back when I was writing rituals for a working coven every month, this book would have been invaluable to me for inspiration.

Very enjoyable collection

The Pagan's Muse is a very enjoyable collection of pagan-oriented writing, presented in a quality hardback format. The writing is approachable &, I believe, ultimately something that even your run-of-the-mill non-pagan poetry aficionado will be able to appreciate. I agree with another reviewer that, as a result of having multiple poems on the same page, things do feel a bit cramped; however, you quickly acclimate to the format & it is not an unusual one for a poetry compilation of this type.
I think my only real disappointment with this book is that there isn't more editoral commentary to tie things together a bit more...
